About Us

The 97th Services Marketing Office provides marketing, commercial sponsorship and advertising support to all 97th Services Division activities. We help build a positive division image by producing a variety of products and publications aimed at educating and informing our customers.

Benefits of Commercial Sponsorship

By helping sponsor events, companies can take advantage of a wide variety of promotional opportunities within the military community that have not been available until recently. Some of the benefits are:

  • Display company name/logo on promotional materials
  • Distribution of press release announcing sponsorship of event distributed to base, and in some cases, civilian newspapers
  • Announcements at the event of sponsors’ name and support
  • On-site signage, product displays, and demonstrations
  • Commissary and Army/Air Force Exchange Service promotional displays may be possible
  • Possible displays in Lodging and Dining facilities
  • VIP status at events for major sponsors
  • Event recognition: “Sponsored in part by…”
  • Product sampling and display opportunities on bases

Three ways to get your product in front of military consumers:

  • Commercial sponsorships can be arranged through solicited or unsolicited procedures.
  • Under the solicited program, Air Education and Training
  • Command (AETC) will announce upcoming major events available for sponsorship in various trade publications. Proposals are then solicited from various commercial companies.

Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising

The Altus Air Force Base Commercial sponsorship program allows businesses to receive promotional exposure in exchange for financial, product, or services support for base events.

Sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the year in conjunction with activity monthly special events i.e. Golf and Bowling Championships; Fitness activities; Military Club functions; Youth programs; Outdoor Recreation; Travel and Trade show, Festivals and Air Shows.

Military bases have strict rules governing the displayment of advertising, product exhibits and sales materials. Businesses are permitted to engage in promotional activities on bases only under special circumstances and only through Services morale, welfare and recreational programming.

Unsolicited Sponsorships

Unsolicited sponsorships may be done for programs and special events developed by the sponsor and offered to the military as a program to enhance existing morale and welfare programs. Interested businesses may also indicate their interest in sponsoring a future event conducted by Services.

Interested sponsors can submit unsolicited proposals by email: Contact Us.
