Frame & Engraving Shop
Frame & Engraving Shop is located at building 343 next to Auto Hobby and is equipped with a computer mat cutter, laser engraving machine, which can etch up to an 18″ x 32″ size. Our machines can engrave on plaques, mugs, pens, plastics, woods. If you need assistance, our master engraver can help you choose the best layout to create a one-of-a-kind custom piece.

About Wood Hobby
Wood Hobby is located directly behind the Auto Hobby and Outdoor Recreation and has a complete array of machinery, tools and supplies. A full-time carpenter is available for assistance. A one-time mandatory safety course is required for first timers and may be arranged by calling 481-7331.
In addition to our safety class, we also have other classes available to people at Altus AFB. They are taught by experienced carpenters who love the work they do. The following classes are offered every month.
- Beginning Woodworking
- Frame Class
- Safety Class
We ask people wishing to take our Beginning Woodworking Class to please register at least one day prior to the class.
Don’t like any of the woods we currently have in stock? We can special order any type of wood. Come in and talk with us about all we offer.
We also offer a fantastic line of coin racks and shadow boxes.
