Library
The Altus AFB Library provides a professionally operated service for military service personnel, their family members and civilians on this installation. The Library supports the Air Force mission, the education of our Airmen and provides many quality of life programs.
Kid’s Areas
We host many events and activities for children while providing a relaxing space!
Blu-Ray, DVD, and Game Section
We have a wide selection of BluRays and DVDs, games for the XBOX One, PS3, PS4, Wii and Nintendo Switch!
Lounge Areas
Need a quiet location? We offer study areas with FREE access to computers!

Events
WE currently have many different monthly events! Hunt-A-Killer meets on the second Tuesday of the month, Pokémon trading/battle game night is the third Friday of the month.
DVDs/Blu-Rays/TV Shows
Board Games
Limit: 2 games for 3 weeks
We have a large collection of board games available for ages 3 to 99!
We also offer STEM kits, a Makerspace, and Penworthy kits.
Video Games
Limit: 2 games per family group for 3 weeks. The Library has recently added a collection of over 700 video games that is available to be checked out. Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5!
Children’s Books
We have over 10,000 kid’s books. These range from picture books for preschoolers to Junior Fiction and Young Adult Fiction selections.
School Resource Center
We have a large selection of homeschool items!
Other Resources
Resources are available for a variety of languages. We offer Playaway, Vox Books and Wonder Books!!
CLEP/Study Materials
We maintain materials for those preparing for various tests including CLEP, DSST, GRE, and ACT. The Pass Your Class database is available at the DoD MWR website below.
Audio Books
For those times when activities permit, the audio book collection has abridged and unabridged selections in CD’s and Playaway formats to entertain and enlighten. There are over 900 titles to choose from. Access to applications like Hoopla and Libby is available at the DoD MWR website listed below.
